Use the reporting tools available in your account to flag behaviour or content that may breach the standards. The information below explains what to include and when to contact an external authority.
Report suspected underage access, threats, harassment, stalking, coercion, impersonation, stolen images, scams, money requests, malicious links, non-consensual intimate imagery, pressure after a refusal, or a person who misrepresents who will attend a meeting.
Identify the profile and describe what happened in chronological order. Include dates, approximate times, relevant message text, and the reason you believe the behaviour is harmful. Preserve screenshots or message records privately when it is safe to do so.
Do not circulate intimate images or expose another person’s identity while gathering evidence. A report should contain only what is reasonably necessary to explain the concern.
If someone is in immediate danger or a crime is in progress, contact emergency services. Platform reporting is not a substitute for urgent police, medical, or safeguarding help.
Threatening to share intimate images, sharing them without consent, stalking, harassment, and blackmail can be criminal matters. End contact where safe, do not pay, secure your accounts, preserve relevant evidence, and seek specialist or police support.
A report may be reviewed alongside account activity and available records. The person who reported may not receive every detail about an enforcement decision because privacy, safety, and legal obligations can limit what can be disclosed.
UK adults affected by intimate-image abuse can seek support from the Revenge Porn Helpline. Online abuse can also be reported to the police or discussed with specialist services listed by the government’s ENOUGH campaign.
